Crucial's Pro line targets buyers who want a name-brand DDR5 kit built with overclocking headroom in mind, rather than the company's standard JEDEC-only modules — a departure aimed squarely at desktop enthusiasts. It comes in relatively modest capacities compared to some competing lines, which keeps it aimed at mainstream builds rather than workstation-scale memory.
Speed grades inside the family range from 6000 MT/s down to a slower bin, and CL36 varies enough that the same capacity kit can show up at noticeably different latencies. Since Crucial doesn't sell this line in as many permutations as some rivals, it's worth reading the exact speed and timing on the listing rather than assuming the family name implies one spec.
All of it is unbuffered, non-ECC UDIMM for standard desktop sockets — enable the XMP profile to reach the rated 6000 MT/s, as it will otherwise default to a lower JEDEC speed.
