As with the slower tier, every kit in this family shares one speed and one timing, so a four-module kit and a two-module kit of the same total capacity differ only in how that total is split across sticks — and four modules place more load on a server board's memory controller than two.
This is registered ECC RDIMM DDR5, meant for server platforms that call for buffered ECC memory rather than standard desktop UDIMM.
