Trident Z Royal swaps G.Skill's usual finned heatspreader for a crystalline diffuser over the RGB lighting — a design aimed squarely at a visible build rather than at being the plainest option in the range.
This family spans a real range of speed grades rather than one fixed rating: a 4266 MT/s kit at CL17 is a different bin from another sold under the same name, and 32GB here comes as 2×16GB. Check both the MT/s figure and the CAS number together rather than assuming the Royal name pins down one spec.
All of it is DDR4 UDIMM, unbuffered and non-ECC, for desktop boards. Reaching any of these rated speeds needs the XMP profile enabled in BIOS — DDR4 boots at a much slower JEDEC default otherwise.
